Blue Fused Glass Platter

This sky blue 20 cm square dish has a unique leaf design, known as Fossil Vitra, which captures the delicate intricacy of leaves in glass. The process of heating the layers of clear and blue glass to fuse them together causes the leaves to burn away leaving a ghostly imprint on the surface.  The dish is unique due to the fact that the leaves are individual item that cannot be replicated. The dish curves upwards slightly at each corner and would make a great gift for friends or family or simply spoil yourself with this handmade work of art.
